Hahaha!!

Finally a girl who won't order the salad!! Lol! No seriously. They should eat some real food. No but actually seriously. This was pretty funny. Good job.

Wow

All of the reviews are either hating on or defending glocks. I guess this was a good effort but it sort of proves the hopless state that things are in with everyone making generalizations about folks and voting based on what group the author is in, both good and bad. It is just as bad when people auto five a glock movie as it is when the blam just for its glockitude, though. Glocks get the most hateful reviews, but on the whole, glocks give more nonsensical and/or hatefull review responses than the average joe which provokes folks. I guess if people are going to hate, it brings out the love in others. Anyway. It was pretty good, the graphics weren't bad. Glocks don't really give too much opportunity to show off artistic talent, but what was there was not bad. Oh, but I must ask you not to use Times New Roman as the font for the text. Looks tacky.

This is good

A little flash tip. I saw a few times your tweens were going smoothly, but then suddenly jumped at the end. That probably means that you accidentally moved the hot point of the tweened object in the first or last frame of the tween. If you get out the free transform tool, select the object, and double click the hot point it will return to the center and that should fix the screwed up tweens. Good luck with learning flash!

Dude, it wasn't even that good the first time

But if you want to do a better version of a movie, then you have to update the movie from the GG menu. You can't upload the movie twice. This the average noob doesn't know so many wouldn't have cought that this needs the whistle blown on it.

TheCatsPajamas responds:

Yeah, but i dont care, i know i can update it, but i don't want to. What i want to do, is upload a Special Edition with a new ending.

The other one is what it is because of it's Combo Breaker ending. But in this one I wanted to see how people would react to the new ending.

Plus, if I just updated the other one, it's not like anyone wouldv'e seen it.

Not too shabby

But the graphics do need upped a lot. Oh, I saw you mention that you were going to use 20 fps. Don't. If you want to up the frame rate, I reccomend 16 or 24. Maybe even 18 but it is not as good for some reason. A guy I know who is a professional told me this little known secret: Frame rates in flash must be multiples of only 2 and/or 3, or the performance of the .swf file suffers. The ones I mentioned and 12 are the onew that supposedly work best. Anyway, It has the potential to be good if you invest a lot of time in it. Good luck.

Uptown-SlimJim responds:

Wow, thank you very much for the advice. I mean it. I get lots of constructive critisizm...but this one may actually be useful to me.

Thanks a million.

This is really good

I'm pretty sure that this didn't turn out the way you wanted it to, what with the audio too quick for the words, the under done light saber fight, and the C+ :) but I still liked it, and I think it is because it didn't turn out like it was supposed to. I got a more speedy, nonesensical, razzle dazzle, cheezey awesomeness that the movie would have been less good without. Good work, and don't worry about the problems with this, it's fine!

Nelgtawa responds:

Cheers bro - I think I'll have to pick a better aesthetic next time - I just usaed '3D style' stuff made in Freehand

Don't get me wrong

This, and all the other things you've made, is a fine movie. I've seen just about all of your stuff and told you what I thought on all of them that struck me somehow. As a stand alone, I would have loved this, but basicaly all of your movies are nuclear war bassed. You ought to expand your horizons. You can even still crack on how people are doing themselves in, but just change to a different aspect of it. The graphics were good and the song was a weird twist on it. It would be good bkgnd music for a little clip from something I'm working on. What was it? Anyway, keep doing what you're doing, just do it a little differently next time.

Good work Mr. Philips

Very nicely put together. Visuals in every area were stunning, and the little story line was entertaining. I especially liked your portrayal of the prowlies, playing sith the bug and putting the rock on the other's head, it helps get you involved with the movie. I have always enjoyed watching your stuff and will look foward to your next.

I've seen this type of thing too much to vote 5

This was actually a decent fbf, but still just a fbf. You could have made something way cool with those graphics. The liquid effects were cool. The florecent colors on the black background was also hot, but when the background went white, it lost the whole feel that the black bkgd part made. Make a fight, or an obstacle course race type thing where 2 of those sticks had ot get to somewhere and tried to hold each other back while climbing around through some stuff. That would be intense on the black bkgd. Still, it was good and I liked you style, that counts for a lot in my book.

banana-man responds:

thanks for the most helpfull review yet

You've got talent

The amount of awesome involved here is unbelievable! It is hard to make a good flash, especially a funny one, with limited drawing skills and it also takes a lot of skill to make a good random movie. You made a really good random, funny flash with limited artistic ability which shows that you have a lot of talent. Your comedic timing is great. The mundane characters and the voice synth that is so subtle are my fovourite parts. Do another funny flash, like one with an amusing plotline.

I'll take three?
