This was pretty nice

The actual animation wasn't that great, but you gave some cinematography a whirl, and thats good. You also had a good little riff on each of the instruments, but I think you could have made a lot more with this if you had done some better instrumentation than what you did. It's not really musically a good idea to keep the same riffs and just cut some of them in and out. It makes it seem like you were just trying to stretch a few riffs farther than you should and just needed something to do with them. If thats what was really up, then thats a whole other issue. I don't want to be too critical, but music is what I do, so I guess I'm a little picky :) The video wasn't bad, you did a good job on making an interesting background, and I like these ones with the cat characters better than your little bubble ones. You should do more of them. Keep it up!

Very nice

This was good stuff, actually funny and with good graphics and sound. Thats pretty rare for a spoof. Well done. Any chance of you making any more parodies for our viewing amusement?

Wonchop responds:

Well there's another Bond parody coming up, though that's gonna take a while

Haha!

Hey, that was pretty good! I gotta say, I usually don't like clock movies, but I liked this one fine! Maybe the good ole Christmas Spirt is kickin in, I don't know. Well, good movie either way. Good to see some quality clock flicks in the portal. Merry Christmas, Peyote Clock!

Oh, and by the way, what does a peyote happen to be?

peyoteclock responds:

glad you liked it!!11

a peyote is a button like cactus from mexico, it has a strong history of religious use among the natives.

HAHAHA!!!

Hey, Brian! It's Ken! Damn, that was pretty funny, man! Quite excellent, good sir, quite indubitable indeed. I liked the library one best. That little monitor guy is a retard. I hate him. But yeah, good stuff Brian. Very nice, and w00t for getting front page, too. Keep it coming!

Wronchi responds:

Hey nice to see ya, and just to let u know, in production right now: The Cheesy Knight! (always thought it'd be a good movie) :D
lets stay in touch, my AIM is NFL246

HAHAHA!!

Hey man! You may remember me reviewing your movie Rick's Shorts.

I love how on all of your movies people are "dick heads" about English stuff :) I was born and raised in the US, and I live here now, but for four years I did live in England. It's not bad over there, and it certainly isn't anything like what most of us Americans think it is. It's pretty fuckin funny to read all of this stuff!

Anyway, I liked this movie much better than the test thing. You really did make a big improvement in this one (I didn't watch v1 tho). It was just as good as I thought it would be after seeing your stick test thing. Still some room to improve on some smoothness, and maybe some new sfx. Keep it up!

rz-stick responds:

yay, this reveiw has made my day. thanks for the reveiw/s it means a lot to me when i get positive feedback and gts 2.2 is in production :D thanks again and have an amazing day!

P.S England is rather amazing, and if somebody says english animations suck, the decline of video gaming was made by english people and i live a 30 minute drive from the creators!!!!!

Not bad, not bad

The movements of your sticks are a little choppy, so you might consider smoothing those out. Stick animation should be really good since the characters aren't complex to draw. I think you have some good ideas, but it's hard to follow the text, and the sticks have to stop to talk, so try to make it more action and less explanation. I think that this could have been really good if you had a whole group of sticks fighting to get across and avoid the thing at the same time. Just work on it some. I'm looking foward to seeing what you can do with your skills movies that aren't tests. You should check out my stick test movie lol. It got a friggin 3.2! Good work, stick with it.

rz-stick responds:

ty, i am making a new stick animation, with a very original concept!!! nobody would guess what it is but it gives stick fighting a new edge xD, hope you get to see it and ive been working on it for about 5 hours iand i am very pleased with how smooth it is i saw one of your animations and it was odd but cool

Muskrat is right

This is fucking confusing. I can't tell what was going on. Just Wario and Mario battle for a little then Wario falls down a crap ton of holes while Mario lurks around. Also use .gif or .png files for your explosions so that the square around it is transparent.

MEKofTheMEKkingdom responds:

I'm not even sure how to do that, could you e-mail me how to do that? Also this would be better if you played the game "Out of this world" on SNES known to the British as "Another World" and as for Mario lurking, did you watch through "notes" at the end?

Yeah, well, you know what they say on ng:

"its aight. its ok n all but u shojld work on it man."

But this was more of a "U SUCK!!1!!1 BUT THE MOVIE ROCK!!!!"

I guess if I thought I was cool I'd say "this flash is fuckin"

I think personally I would say, "The plotline was lacking, but there was definantly some effort, so keep it up. You should work mostly on the drawing stuff part."

Jordanog responds:

yeah, whatever the fuck you just said

Dude, it wasn't even that good the first time

But if you want to do a better version of a movie, then you have to update the movie from the GG menu. You can't upload the movie twice. This the average noob doesn't know so many wouldn't have cought that this needs the whistle blown on it.

TheCatsPajamas responds:

Yeah, but i dont care, i know i can update it, but i don't want to. What i want to do, is upload a Special Edition with a new ending.

The other one is what it is because of it's Combo Breaker ending. But in this one I wanted to see how people would react to the new ending.

Plus, if I just updated the other one, it's not like anyone wouldv'e seen it.

Not too shabby

But the graphics do need upped a lot. Oh, I saw you mention that you were going to use 20 fps. Don't. If you want to up the frame rate, I reccomend 16 or 24. Maybe even 18 but it is not as good for some reason. A guy I know who is a professional told me this little known secret: Frame rates in flash must be multiples of only 2 and/or 3, or the performance of the .swf file suffers. The ones I mentioned and 12 are the onew that supposedly work best. Anyway, It has the potential to be good if you invest a lot of time in it. Good luck.

Uptown-SlimJim responds:

Wow, thank you very much for the advice. I mean it. I get lots of constructive critisizm...but this one may actually be useful to me.

Thanks a million.

I'll take three?
