This is OK

The graphics are sprites, the animation's not bad, and the code works, but it looks like you took shortcuts. Correct me if I'm wrong, but what he does is only based on what you do isn't it? Not much of a battle if you choose what you AND him do each time.

fullmetalchaz responds:

congrats on spoting that, also i would make it random if i knew the script.

I'm sorry

You've got talent, and you made a nice scene creation thing with good music choice and it had some humerous opertunities to make a scene, and I hate bitching about this stuff but someone has to:

It's just ... a ... fucking ... scene maker. It pisses me off that so many of these get submitted. Yours was not too bad so I went easy on the voting and crap, but really, the only problem with this is that it was not creative. It was a madness thing, and it was not your idea (a scene maker that is). The script and graphics were nice. Do something origional with them.

Shomer responds:

this was is an old project i have a more original game comeing soon.

Not too bad

I hate sprites, but it was still OK even considering that. Also, when you die, you start at the next level. You should have the option of either retry or move on.

Kenney responds:

You don't start at the next level, read what I said, the levels are randomly generated!

It WAS just another warthog pimping game

But it was pretty good. Like the other guy said the color changed on me, but like you said, you're working on it. The system was a little confusing at first, but you get used to it. I liked the fact that it was in forced perspective... very cool. If you can it would be cool if you could change camera angles, if you know what I mean. Anyway, good and you get a 5.

the-disturbed responds:

The camera angles thing...will be out in V. 1.5. But until then, stay with the forced.

Hmm...Good.

Good. Very useful, and also graphicly pleasing. I liked the whole thing, and even tho the music really got on my nerves, I was able to turn it off, so it's all good. If you make another, it would be nice if you had the script for what you were explaining ("man" and all that) and then had a more generaized version of the script with blanks ("instance of your object" and "instance of what it's hitting" and "action that will happen when they hit") to show more of what the script means and how to use it for more varieties of subject matter. Probably the best ng tut either way.

BORKOYz responds:

well thanx for the good comments
im also thinking of making a new tutorial but thanx for pointing that out.

Not bad

I liked it. Just one of those pointless, fun, and addicting games. You might consider making it so you can stockpil like 3 bullets, instead of having to just have a max of one. Just wondering, what did you change from the first one? I liked both and voted 4 on both while they were under judgement, but they seem the same.

d2312564 responds:

Hi,

Thanks for the nice review. In the first one, there were some minor bugs. The first one was flagged because some of the people with half of a brain flagged it.

If you want to know more in depth about the changes, here:
- Fixed obstacle generation bug (Every other obstacle would generate to far onto the screen).
- Walls would converge, and it would become impossible.
- High score fix

That's basically it.
