This is OK

The graphics are sprites, the animation's not bad, and the code works, but it looks like you took shortcuts. Correct me if I'm wrong, but what he does is only based on what you do isn't it? Not much of a battle if you choose what you AND him do each time.

HAHAHA!!!

I hated chasing the button, but loved this! You should have some way for people to cheat, or maybe it gets easier each try, or tempt them to try to cheat or at least make fun of them when they loose lol. But this was just a fun quicky, and that's too much effort. Anyway, made me laugh. To those who are pissed because they think it's just a pain in the ass that's not worth it, I think this game is the best thing that's ever happened to anyone who'll put up with a little button chasing. And to those who actually liked chasing the button... FU! lol

Cool game, but I had a bug

I died one time by getting hit by two of the those big asteroids at once, the biggest kind you can get while there are lots coming down, after that I couldn't move that size of asteroid any more so I kept just dying every time one came down. Nothing moved them at all, I even got one of those big shots in between two of those suckers, and it just bounced really quick between them and then pinged out when the big asteroids came together. That kinda sucked, but the rest of the game was cool. I love the sound it makes when you fire a big shot... BvOOM :)

Wow. Totally fucking sweet game

I'm not gonna lie, I played this all afternoon trying to get to the end. Which I assume doesn't exist. Dammit. I got to level fifty, and after having killed the wasp AGAIN, it said "prepare for wave 51" and I was just like "hell no". You should consider putting an end to this game, because it becomes hugely boring once you've got the three missles thing and everything is a one hit kill. Other than that, I loved this game, especially the combo system. It was one of the most awesome things I've seen to hit down one of those jets and see the entire bottom of the screen explode. Its sweet that you can get like 256,000 all in one hit. I only did it once, but it was so awesome. Also, I was very impressed with the smooth spinning of falling planes and hellicopters in here. Kudos to the art dude. Very hot animation.

Nice game!

I think it would be great if you make a sequal with some AI turrets that you could build, so eventually you could have them do some of the dirty work, or maybe you could be able to build a plane or something that would follow a path around the screen and bomb things, or some infantry that could run around that you would have to protect from being run over. I dunno, but I think basically it would be nice if you added some computerized helpers of some sort. Other than the "no backup" lol it was a great game.

My glitch: I had all upgrades and had built everything. On the level with the red tank or whatever, I used a bomb on the first thing to enter the screen to see what it did, but I had also laid 3 mines. At this point, all vehicles did no damage and went right through my base along with their bullets. At first I couldn't hurt them either, but then I used a shock wave thing and it killed all of them (except a tank that got away before I did this) and after that I could shoot them and they couldn't shoot me. It kept up like this and I couldnt hover over the ?s at the bottom of the screen to check my stats. Eventually the badguys stopped coming and nothing happened, so I closed it. I don't have flash player 8, or whatever the newer one is. Hope this helps. Happy bug hunting.

If you did what I think you did

And made the cpu slow down when you slowed down and speed up when you speed up, then I don't like you. That's what ruined Mario Kart for me. It was a great game, except that all the cpu players could go at ridiculous speeds whenever they were recovering from you hitting them, and also they only hit traps when they were on screen. Sneaky bastards. But yeah, it was good except for the Mario Kart-like cpu crap going on. And I finally did beat that little bastardly squiggly cpu fish. Then I quit while I was ahead.

Holy SHIT!

That got me breathing heavy and everything. If you come into this game with the right mentality, it sure as hell will scare the crap out of you! Damn, that freaked me! Very nicely done, I liked the desaturated color use.

Wow. I don't usually like ng games.

But this was great. Many many kudos to all you guys. Especially Alexander Asvegren (Whose name is hard to spell) because the action script here must have been a bitch. And also especially to Axel Hammarback because I liked the graphics for this game more than any other game, which makes you my favorite game artist. And also extra congrats to Matt Hanson, because like the die hard musician I am I listened to the soundtrack the whole time I wrote this review, and it rocks. So extra kudos to everyone but the voice actors I guess, sorry I didn't like that part. I really like the way you guys's stuff fits together. Do you know each other, or just sent stuff to eachother over the internet? Because you are a great team and should make another great game. The concept of this was very cool, and the timing was just right so that if you were too slow to click the buttons, or you didn't kill the peons and had to go chase them down you died. Also I thought it was a nice touch at the end when you listed the characters. Extremely awesome game, and I really do hope you three make a new game soon. Maybe with new voice actors, too... :)

This is a good one

Good game, but if you make another or update this, make there be a little more friction so you don't spin out of control so bad, or like a "control thrust" button which aligns the direction of your movement to the direction you are facing at the cost of .5 fuel and some speed or something.
